  • Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights of their articles.

  • JABEdu holds the right of first publication and makes the work openly accessible under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Archiving and Reuse (Self-Archiving)

The following versions may be deposited and shared without embargo:

Version Sharing Permission Conditions
Preprint (Author’s Original Manuscript) – before peer review Yes The term “Preprint” must be clearly indicated; once published, the DOI link and citation to the final version must be added.
Accepted Manuscript (Postprint / Author Accepted Manuscript) – after peer review, before layout Yes Must include a note: “Author Accepted Manuscript”; should contain the final citation and the DOI link to the published version.
Version of Record (Publisher’s Final PDF/HTML) – published version Yes The journal’s citation and layout must be preserved; the DOI and journal link must be provided.

Attribution and License (Required)

Every deposited version must clearly display:

  • Full citation: author(s), year, title, journal name, volume(issue), pages, DOI.

  • License: “This work is licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).”

  • Copyright: “© The Author(s), [year].”

  • Link to the published version: “Published version: [DOI link].”

Note: The previous statement “© 2023 Journal for the Agriculture, Biotechnology and Education” was incorrect. The correct form is © The Author(s), [year].

Permitted Platforms

  • Institutional repositories (domestic and international universities, non-profit research institutions)

  • Funders’ repositories and project archives

  • Authors’ personal or departmental web pages

  • Academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Mendeley)

  • Open-access thesis and disciplinary repositories

  • Social media sharing (abstracts, links, cover images)

Not Permitted

  • Republishing under a license other than CC BY 4.0

  • Altering the article content without clearly indicating modifications

  • Removing the journal layout, logo, or citation details and presenting it as another publisher’s version

  • For Accepted Manuscripts:
